What a consultation covers
Time to discuss your concern, an examination where it is needed, and a clear explanation of the options available to you — including the option of not having surgery at all. If a procedure would help, you will be told what it involves, what it can and cannot achieve, and what recovery realistically looks like.

Surgical and non-surgical procedures
Indicative price ranges for individual procedures are given on their own pages on this site. These are a guide only. What a procedure actually costs depends on the operation itself, the time it takes, whether anaesthesia and admission are needed, and any implants or materials used, so the figure that applies to you is confirmed in writing after your consultation.
After your consultation you will receive a written estimate. It covers the surgeon's fee, hospital and theatre charges, anaesthesia, implants or materials, and the follow-up expected afterwards. Nothing is charged beyond the estimate without discussing it with you first.

Procedure advance
Where a date has been confirmed for a procedure, an advance of 5 to 10 per cent of the estimated cost may be requested to hold that date. It is adjusted against the final bill, so it is part of what you pay and not an addition to it.
An advance is only ever requested after you have received your written estimate and decided to go ahead. Refund terms for advances are set out on the refund and cancellation page.

Payment
Consultation fees can be paid by UPI, debit card, credit card or net banking. A receipt is issued for every payment.
